Black Outfit

From the mid-1980s into the late 1980s, Madonna frequently wore a black outfit (usually form-fitting), sometimes with straps, sometimes without, both for photo shoots and in music videos.

The same sort of outfit was worn by various female entertainers in the 1950s, and, playing the character Sandra Dee, Olivia Newton John wore one in the 1950s-themed 1978 movie Grease.
