Deborah (Debbie) Harry of Blondie
Deborah Harry was the lead singer of Blondie, a band which started having hit songs in the late 1970s and into the early 1980s.
Harry was a huge Marilyn Monroe fan (Monroe died in 1962). Harry combined the Marilyn Monroe look (blonde hair with bright or dark red lip stick) with a "punk rock" sort of look.
Madonna began her career by ripping off Harry's Monroe punk rock look and later shed that for a more classic Monroe look.
It's not so much that I can include numerous examples of Madonna ripping off Debbie Harry exact-pose-by-pose or exact-outfit-or-outfit, as Madonna's Harry rip off consisted of the overall look: the blond hair, red lipstick, and punker styled clothing.
